Running unmatched 2 X 4GB DDR4

In a PC I have 1 X 4GB Kingston DDR4. It's cheap budget stuff, I want to run another 4GB HyperX DDR4 along side it, would it likely cause any issues? A game I'm trying to play wont load and I think it's because it only has 4GB ram and needs 8GB (ETS2, Triple monitor)

As long as you run them at the speed of the slowest one.
