Running Xbox Live through PC

I'm currently connecting to Xbox Live by running an ethernet cable from my xbox to my PC, which in turn is connected wirelessly to the network.

I've only just bothered to get it set up and it was working for a few hours, all was well and I turned my xbox off when I was finished. When I turned the xbox on again though it wouldn't connect. I hadn't changed any of the internet settings or anything, it just wouldn't work.

I'm using Windows XP and I'm sharing the internet connection, rather than bridging it, however, I was wondering if anyone else did the same thing, and if they had any ideas how to stop it playing up.
Currently both the settings on both PC and console are on automatically find the IP addresses, and I've reset both internet adapters, and restarted both the PC and the Xbox and nothing is working. I've tried manually entering the IP addresses, too, and that has done nothing at all :(

Any help regarding this appreciated :/

I haven't tried that actually, no, but the problem seems to be that the xbox isnt actually connecting with the computer :/

I tried it and it didn;t work, and I have no idea how to configure a bridged connection.

I tried bridging again and I think the reason bridging isn't working is because I'm not using windows wzc. It doesnt load up the netgear drivers and so it cant connect to the internet.

Sharing is the way I got it to work before, but I have no idea how I managed to do it :/
