Had a little forum meet last night in Callander. was a nice run out and back. Roads were amazing as well. Got stuck with one old chap that wouldn't over take anything and sat doing about 40 the whole time. so soon over took him LOL.

Heres a few pictures only about 40 of us LOL.

No pictures at the moment, as I’ve only just got in – PC on for music, so thought I’d post :p

Just got back from a 300-odd mile ride, spent about 9 hours in the saddle, me and a couple of mate rode some roads in Wales, finally got around to doing the Black Mountain Pass (not Road this time!); bit on an anti-climax really, sure it had nice bends but unless you’re a local or know it very very well, then you can only have the occasional squirt of power. The rest of the time is spent worrying about the sheep walking into the road and trying not to admire the amazing scenery!

Thoroughly enjoyable day, what biking is about :)

nice meet and ride yesterday, round wales with NWB (NorthWestBikers)
a lot of nice roads , and surprisingly not much police presence

some piccies i took on phone...

I'll post a couple of pics and a vid in a bit. Davie, what Scottish bike forum do you post on that organises runouts?. DBF - Dundee Bikers Forum?. Or another one?.

Been in that carpark at Callander a good few times. A84 is pretty hopeless on a Sunday though. Too many dottery auld idiots in cars and cops all over the shop. :p

This is for Hamoodii. Taken last year from the Irish Rally, the bikes belong to my father and I. Both are BSA A10 Gold Flashes, plunger suspension obviously!

This is one of the roads we had the pleasure to ride, the Healy Pass, constructed to connect cork and kerry together through the mountains.

If you'd like anymore i'm sure i can dig someout, we try to do a fair few rides on the oldies, pity there is always more time needed in the workshop!

Taken on the D500 in the Black Forest last week

And in the Mosel area

Was a fantastic trip. Went Hull to Zebrugge, down to Bastogne to view the memorial, then through Luxembourg to the biker hotel in the Mosel area. Did a day trip down to Baden Baden to ride the D500, then visited the Nurburgring before blasting over to Ypres for the Menin Gate last post. Went to Tyne Cot cemetery, Hill 62 before spending an afternoon in Bruges.

Bikes are bloody awesome for blasting around Europe!

Actually bought the Blackbird specifically for the trip with the intention of selling it afterwards but I really bonded with the bike - 140 plus on the autobahns, 200 mile tank range, great on the twisties and comfy on multiple 400 mile days. Wierdly had a blackbird a few years ago which I never got on with due to the handling. This one seems set up much better and was an absolute joy on the 500 - Noe I just have to see if I can keep the Speed Triple as well!

That blue and white 675 looks better in the flesh than it did in the promo shots.

I'm not saying it didn't look nice in the promo shots, i thought it looked fantastic :p

Currently trying to persuade the wife that buying an RSV4 would be a very good investment. Kinda difficult though, I intend grabbing a Porsche Cayenne at the end of the year so the wife isn't exactly sold on the financial outlay an RSV4 would entail. I might forget the Cayenne idea and go down the route of a new 2 wheeler, that's if I can persuade her its the best option....:D
