if you google this you get told that it is the sub seven virus. well i am getting this occassionally on shutdown.
i have just run panda active scan, and it comes up clean, and i have searched all the appropriate files in the windows folder, and all the keys in regedit, and i have not a single symptom of sub seven.
i also noticed on ms knowledge base it can be caused by some mouse drivers i don't have.
anybody got any experience of this error.
i have formatted many times before after googling something and learning it could be connected to a virus, only to learn later that there was nothing serious wrong with the computer, so not hitting the panic button this time. computer is working fine and doesn't show any symptoms of this virus.
