Russell and Kravitz fly Typhoons

I'll watch that later but I can bet that's quite a ride for Russell as there can't be many things that make an F1 car feel slow.

If only there was no Ted in it, I used to really like him but now I cant stand the bloke.

I may watch....what can I say I like George and I like aeroplanes lol.

Why do you dislike him out of curiosity? I think he's great.

Funnily enough I just watched that. Very cool indeed. Even from the limited cockpit camera you can see the differences in speed and "cornering" (lol) from when Russell and Ted were in control, to when the real pilots put some proper manoeuvres on each other.

They even matched the music

Just me I guess, I used to love the notebook but after a few interviews where he seems to want to make people around him, especially younger drivers, feel stupid I just went off him.

Which part of the RAF does Sky run?
It was clearly stated in the video that these were flights that were going to happen anyway and were to keep the pilots current. They weren't put on specifically for this. They were training flights.

Even if they hadn't been, it's estimated that an hour in a Typhoon costs a bit under £4000 but let's assume that and therefore a cost to the taxpayers of £8000 in total.

There are approximately 32,000,000 taxpayers in the UK.

8000/32000000

£0.00025 per person.

I enjoyed this piece in the buildup to the race.
