I have just bought a MX5 and it is has got a bit of surface rust on the rear arches. After some vigours poking (fnar fnar) it feels solid so instead of welding fresh metal in I am going to try a rust remover/convertor on it and see how it goes.
I have used hammerite's rust convertor before but can anyone recommend a better one?
