Hi all

I have a BMW 120d e82 coup on a 2010 plate . Although Its developed a small number of pain chips. Some on the Bonnet. Some on the lower side of the car.

Obviously chipped the paint and then over time rust has formed...

Any decent product about to protect the rust getting worse before I look at buying a small pot of the correction paint that you dab on in to the chip hole ?

What's a good anti rust protector ?

Or any other method you would suggest ?

how big are they/chips ?
I'd get/got a glass fibre pencil to remove+clean up any exposed metal surface, IPA wash out, and then fine brush to apply touch up paint.

There is one on the drivers side rear arch which is about half a cm.. the ones on the Bonnet and sides are very small.

Cheers will take a look , body work repair is not usually an area I DIY with cars so forgive me if this was a totally noob question
