Hi guys!
I have just decided to upgrade my computer, I haven't really been keeping up to date since my last build so my knowledge is very rusty at the moment. My last build uses an Asus P5be mobo to give you an idea how long ago that was!
Anyway, after a little research I have decided to go for a motherboard with a z97 chipset, an I5 cpu, 8gb ram and a gtx970 graphics card. With a view to slowly upgrade to an i7 with 16gb of ram and a second graphics card.
I don't have a huge budget hence the long term upgrade plan. Anyway, because I've been away so long I was just wondering if the are any upcoming developments coming out soon which may make the components I have listed a little cheaper? Like new cpus/chipsets etc. Or am I better of just getting it all now? I wouldn't want to upgrade now and find out a month or so later the parts I have bought are drastically cheaper because of new hardware releases.
