Theres a few of us from my works going on a little ride out on Sunday which will cover the route named the Rutland TT.

Start off at my works (PE2 6YS) - meet at 10:30. Head up the A1 to A47. Get to Barrowden and head up to Grantham. Grantham to Melton Mowbray. Melton Mowbray to Market Harborough. Market Harborough to Uppingham. Then back to my works. Total distance - 126 mile, total time around 4 hours 30mins not including lunch and fuel stops.

Roughly this route but starting from PE2 6YS - http://www.motogoloco.com/blog/the-rutland-tt-motogoloco-classics/

If anyone would like to join your more than welcome - we have 3 confirmed atm - 125cc learner, CBR600F and Fireblade so no worries if your on a smaller bike.

Slight change to the route - instead of going up the A1 to the A47 will go through some backroads to Elton then up through Wansford to the A47.

Got two 125cc bikes now coming and the guy on the Fireblade was going to buy a ZX10R last night so he might be on that. I'm still on the CBR600.

Anyone know of somewhere decent that we could stop for lunch on that route?

Thanks

The Wheel and Compass pub Weston by Welland or the Red Lion Middleton, both great proper country pubs with some cracking food on offer.

Just a reminder - if anyone wants to come, the postcode we are meeting at is PE2 6YS and the company is called BGL group. We will be in the carpark at 10:30.

Cheers

I've got a few days off over my birthday next month so I may combine it with a few days down at the parents

Having someone to ride with would be great!

My preference would be early-ish on a Sunday, the roads are generally clear, so it's more fun.

I'll check the wifes diary when I get home (she works random weekends,) but will post what days I can make to see if they're any good for you.
