Hi guys just after your opinions about these two and which is best (If there is a clear winner)

I am love the way that both cases have the 90 degree rotation simple but so effective way to aid cooling. If I was going to get the RV02 it would be the white version (obviously look at it!!) but not sure if its worth the extra especially as the RV03 has even better cable management.

Thanks for your help guys. Also if anyone has any other cases to offer pipe up (Not the HAF series please)

The looks are down to personal taste, so I'll leave that for you to decide for yourself. Likewise the window on right (RV02) or left (RV03) will depend on how your desk is set up as to which suits better. Off the top of my head the differences are:
  • The RV02 is very long - check it will fit in the area you want to put the PC in.
  • The RV03 has a maximum PSU length of 180mm - will your PSU fit?
  • Cable management is easier in the RV03 because the PSU cables start behind the motherboard tray and the Hard Drives can be hidden back there too.
  • Mechanical HDDs behind the motherboard on the RV03 will get hot (my WD500 was hitting 49C). Budget for a quiet 120mm fan to add behind there if you're installing some (it's now on 35C with an Antec Tri-cool on low I had kicking around). SSDs back here won't require fans and nor will HDDs installed in the front bays.
  • Accessing the fan speed switches requires the top to be removed on the RV02, not on the RV03.
  • Possible to add up to 4 120mm fans into the front bays on the RV03, but you'd have to remove the front bay covers (leaving the mesh filter covers in place) and the only user I know of who tried it found so little temperature difference they ended up taking them all out.
  • RV02 has USB2 front ports, the RV03 had USB3
  • Price - RV03 is cheaper (even cheaper if you're willing to shop around a little)

Cooling wise, I'm not sure there's much in it - the RV02 has one more 180mm fan but it's aimed to hit HDDs and optical drives more so makes little difference to the CPU/GPU/Motherboard temperatures.

Pretty sure there are other differences but I haven't used an RV02 so these are all the ones I can come up with off the top of my head. Will admit I am biased though - I love my RV03! :) Are there any RV02 case owners out there who can add their opinions and experiences?

hehe i still havent decided between the 2, talk about drawing it out :)

Personally i think i will go for the RV03 :)

Just got an RV03 and love it.

I've put one front cooling fan on, as due to set up I had a hot spot that is now fine and it doesn't look too bad with a bit of mesh showing on the front. (The hot spot was created by using a Corsair H70 with push pull config, it juts down a bit into the case, so no case design flaw, and its lowered temp of hot spot by about 3-5 degrees at idle.

Case is lovely and generates a nice breeze with everything ramped up high. The 180mm fans on high can be noisy, but easily drowned by music/gaming. On quiet mode, they are near silent.

Over all - if you want more than 2 graphics card than the RV02 - I think has more space, but if you are going to max out at 2 graphics cards (or just the 1) the RV03 is a great little case.

And as someone has mentioned the RV03 is shorter, as the RV02 - is a long long case.

have fun with whatever you go for, both are fantastic.

Thanks for the input guys think I have decided on the RV03 due to window being on correct side and it being perfect for my needs, air cooling, SLI, and lots of HDD spaces as I am partial to the odd download.

ARHGGHGHGHG - Almost 2 weeks and i like both cases still. I am now edging to the RV02-e . Cant make up my mind.

RV02-E - is slightly dearer but if i went with the RV03 and bought extra fans then it would be more expensive overall. Driving me nuts :(
