RV04 anyone?

it looks better than when I looked at it on my phone, but it still is a step behind the rv02 imo, a step forward from the rv03, but still....

the ft04 is even worse!! :o

I personally prefer the rv01 in terms of looks to the rv02, but the rv02 is better in every other way :p

RV02 is a FT02 made cheaper (and uglier :)). I don't care how it looks really (it would sit under my desk), as long as they keep the internal design around there.

Looking at the pics, it looks like a batman contraption, and the orientation changed. Why oh why can't they just keep it simple. :( Pass.

The front does look pretty damn good, but it looks like its going to be smaller than the RV-01, which is my current case, modded for better airflow and it looks awesome to boot, reminds me like something batman styled from the new films ^^

KiiYzOo you should just buy one, they are still for sale, not on OCUK but the other rival site, don't let your torment go on any longer, give in to the goodness of the raven !!!

Hmm I'm not sure about the looks, does anyone have a pic of an rv03 switched on and set up?

Some badly taken pictures here for you: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18274849

The only difference as standard between an RV03 switched off and running is the front light chevron. Off = no light. On = white light left and right. On & accessing HDD = white light at sides and red light in the middle.

Unless you're sad like me and add white cathodes to the inside, then it's pretty obvious when it's on and running! :)

For the record, I still love the looks of the RV03 although I definitely seem to be in the minority on this one. The RV04 however, I am very disappointed in. The main thing I liked was the 90 degree rotation concept which, to me, made perfect sense and allowed a straight path for airflow from bottom to top. By losing that and adding a front door, the RV04 seems to have lost any originality and uniqueness - it's now simply a case just like the hundreds of others out there. Shame. :(

Yeah I was leaning towards the rv03 because of the unique air flow, thanks for the pics I think the thing I'm not keen on is the champagne strips but ocuk do rv03s with grey strips. Can always mod the front plates with paint/ stickers too. Probably gona go with the rv03 or haf x

Hang on...so Silverstone patent the 90 rotated mobo so nobody else can use it, but then go and mess up the basic premise of it with the RV03, use it gratuitously and badly for the TJ11 and then totally drop it for the 4th generation?

What a shame. Best get my FT02 before it vanishes then!
