i am thinking about buying a new graphics card. I am not the kind of person who buys new stuff every week so i like to by the best I can afford at the time and leave it around 3/4years to upgrade. With Nvidai releasing the 295gtx are ATI going to be releasing a new RV790 x2 card in the never near future?

The new ati cards are dew in april but are just the same as the 4800@s with a slightly higher o/c , as to weather they will bring out a x2 version or not i would say probably not worth it tbh .

I wouldnt be suprised. The ''proper'' next gen cards arent due until years end, that's a lot of time for ATi to leave the GTX 295 unchallenged for supremacy. I wouldnt be suprised if they did purely to try and take the performance crown back until christmas then its up for grabs again.
