rx 590 + 2070 SUPER same pc?

will it be ok to run two gpus at once? will i lose any performance in windows?
Will likely be absolutely fine - probably safest option is to just disable the AMD card in device manager so that no drivers get installed for it.

However these days there is less of an issue installing both AMD and NVIDIA graphics drivers in the same machine, so you could install drivers for both if required.

also mixing GPU manufacturers if running 2 is never advised.
but i know using 2 different makes is never a good thing in the same pc.

Hasn't been true for a long time. In the past I have had 2 AMD cards, an NVIDIA as well as onboard Intel graphics all installed with the appropriate drivers, and all working fine.

Many Thanks for this

Yeah, it'll be fine, as stated by Armageus just disable the RX590 in device manager.

Good time to buy an RX590 given they can be had for £110!
