RX480 vs 980Ti

Hi guys,
Just seen an EVGA SC+980ti come up locally for £150.
I've not long had my RX480 8gb but assuming I could get ~£100 for the AMD card you recon it's worth splurging 50 quid on the 980?

980ti wipes the floor with the RX480.

I would say yes. The 980ti overclocked is still pretty much in gtx1070 territiory so a decent chunk faster than the 480.

About 50% faster unless really pushing the overclock. You also need to check if your power supply can handle it. Stock 980Ti will pull nearly 100W more.

Overclock the Ti and it's a beast of a card! Totally different to the rx 480

And how much use has it had? 980ti's are old now and unless its been sitting on a shelf for years has limited life left before it goes pop.
