Hey Folks so have my new Build complete will update Signature soon i have the above processor running on the stock wraith spire cooler i haven't overclocked it yet so it just boosts to 3.75ghz at full Load playing games it hits 57c is that decent and also i have trident z rgb ram and have it running at just 2133mhz atm because havent updated my BIOS version yet so should prob do that to get it running at 3200mhz :)

I wouldn't say that games necessarily run the CPU at full steam so temps will be higher if you stress the system using Prime95, Aida64, Realbench etc...

However, those are decent temps whilst gaming and I would expect your stress temps to be ok also :)

I overclock mine to 3.6 on all cores with the stock cooler and 3200 C14 ram. It is set to downclock as normal, pstates overclock, I have never exceeded 64C when under load, realbench stress testing (with central heating on). Idles at 32C.

Those temps are normal, when running at 3.7ghz on all cores overclocked you will get similar temps. On the latest bios, windows 10 1709 build and a warm room mine peaked at about 62c playing BF1.

You will see a performance boost but it will vary by app / game. Running memory at 3200 also boosts performance as Ryzen cpu performance is directly linked to memory speed.

I just installed a noctua nh-u12s am4 cooler which reduced cpu temps by about 10c under load. Will be fitting more case fans next, just have rear at moment. The wraith spire cooler is a decent enough cooler.

clocked mine to 3.9 on the stock cooler without any temp problems.

performance with memory speed is related to the program. ram speed between 2400 and 2993 makes no difference to my video rendering on vegas pro

nice thing about the stock cooler is it keeps the vrm cool
