Ryzen 3 3100 better then an I7 3770k?

Hi all,

I feel like getting a new case and small upgrade and was thinking of building a super budget itx build which would eventually just move under the TV when I do a full upgrade next year, the question is would a Ryzen 3 3100 be as good/better then a I7 3770k? If not I might just get an itx motherboard for the old CPU...

Hmmm maybe I should just spend cash on upgrading my amd 390 GPU and keep the old intel for a little longer... amazing how long a CPU last for gaming at 1440p...
