Ryzen 3 pricing from OCUK

1K max for me . Cpu,ram and motherboard. I thouhgt it would be in the £700 ballpark to start with. But concidering i am still on Sandybridge i'm going to get my moneysworth.......

Spent £550 so far on the following.

Windows 10
16 gb 3600mhz memory cl17
Fractal design S36 AIO
256gb 970 evo plus
Koolink stronghold case
seasonic 650 watt psu.

old system will go in the new case with psu with a GTX 1080 I have laying around to be sold on.

Memory, AIO & SSD will go in new system. Looking at the Asrock Taichi X570 + either the 8 or 12 core. So could spend between £600 and £750ish next month

Bought my first parts ready for my ryzen build too. Got a Corsair 275R case, 16GB Kingston HyperX RGB RAM and a Crucial 500MX M2 SSD.

Nah, too risky, I can see stock issues with Zen 2, I’d rather get in quick.

Your crystal ball needs polishing then, there is going to be no shortage of stock for the most part. Distributors are not quoting any lead times above that of the current CPU's, and allocations are being filled without question. :)

Just waiting for motherboard and CPU now. I am re-using quite a lot from my existing rig so I guess I'll have an X58 motherboard to sell.

After reviews I'll be in the market for a full platform update to replace my 4770k.

So CPU, Motherboard, RAM, nVME drive.

Might also take the opportunity to update my custom w/c loop to hard-line.

Seen these prices listed on another site, take with a pinch of salt until actually confirmed
R5 3200g €108.90

3400g €163.90

3600 €218.90

3600x €273.90

R7 3700x €361.90

3800x €438.90

3900x €548.90

I'm sort of new when it comes to PC builds but what's the advantage of an x570 board over the older ones?

My use case is video editing, possibly 4k and emulating (Cemu, Yuzu). Not a PC gamer.

I've seen these prices on a large UK retailer who's prices are generally more expensive than overclockers.co.uk

AMD Ryzen 5 3400G £143.99
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 £189.59
AMD Ryzen 5 3600x £235.19
AMD Ryzen 7 3700x £316.79
AMD Ryzen 7 3800x £379.19

The 3900x isn't listed

Hoping for day 1 deal of R7 3700X for £299.99. We all know it'll drop to ~£250 within 6 months anyway. :p
