Hi all,

I recently upgrade to a 3600 from a 1500X on a Gigabyte AB350-Gaming 3 board with 2X8GB Team Group Dark Pro 3200MHz RAM. My issue is I can only get it to POST using one stick of RAM with the 3600; my 1500X had no such issues. I've tried manually setting the frequency to 2133MHz at 1.35V (the default voltage for 3200MHz) and tried relaxing the timings, to no avail.

Do you think this is likely to be a compatibility issue or should I try playing around with RAM settings further?

Edit: I should clarify I'm using the exact same RAM as I used with my 1500X.

hi,

both sticks work just not together?

both slots have been tested with each dimm individually ?

once i have done that i would boot into memtest x86 using a usb and test each stick then go from there.

Both sticks were working together before I swapped CPUs. I'll give Memtest a go, but I'm wondering if SOC voltage is likely to be an issue?

it’s possible, i have swapped Intel cpus before and the memory controllers have needed more volts to be stable. wouldn’t rule out a board
problem either though.
