Install the gigabyte App Store and the install fast boot app. That gives you control of the boot options (so you can change to normal/fast/ultra fast inside windows) and gives you an option to boot to bios while leaving the boot speed setting alone.
You will never get into bios from ultra fast as your usb doesn’t get checked, so keyboard no worky.
Clearing your cmos to get into BIOS is a little... nuclear.
What board u got?I have a 3900x coming tomorrow. Going to use the 1usmus profile/settings and the dram calc to configure my RAM. Is there any other things/tips I should be doing? Not interested in overclocking the cpu at all (done enough of that with intel heh).

I've noticed that when you import your RAM's data from thaiphoon burner the settings that the DRAM calculator gives you is different, maybe worth trying?
You use Taiphoon Burner to read your RAM's data, then you export it to an HTML file iirc and then import that into the DRAM calculator, it gives a much more precise reading of what you should be using rather than guessing so to speak, I'll see if I can get the steps needed in a momentHey, thanks for the reply.
Do you mean use the thaiphoon settings as opposed to the ones by 1usmus?
Btw, I can't remember if PBO should be enabled? Mine's on auto at the mo.
^^ ... or global C-state control?
PSA: Use Thaiphoon to export/import your XMP profile into DRAM Calculator rather than clicking R-XMP button.
Open Thaiphoon, click Report button.
Scroll all the way to the bottom.
Click 'Show delays in nanoseconds'
Export, Complete HTML Report, Save.
Click Import XMP button in DRAM Calc.
Navigate to your saved HTML Report.
This is what I used:
Thanks, I'll take a look later today. Appreciate the help.
