Ryzen 5 2600 memory

Hi.

Can I use Corsair lpx 3000Mhz memory with ryzen 5 2600 and b450 tomahawk motherboard?
I realy dont want to spend 200 euro for memory like flare x etc.

I want ryzen but price of ram pushing me towards I5 8400

Please help

Should be fine. I use similar Corsair 3000 MHz DDR4 on a similar MSI B450 motherboard, and it's all working without issue.

3000mhz will be fine. 300 will not.

The AMD Ryzen and Intel I5 8400 can use the same ram so there is no price difference in Ram for either CPU.

i recently purchased the 2400mhz lpx single 8gb version for my ryzen b350 board and works fine, i dont need to try it on my b450, but there should be no issues either.
