Ryzen 5 2600x CPU cooler keeps revving up and down?

Hi,
Was wondering if someone could help me my ryzen 5 2600x keeps revving up and down. I've started task manager and ended all high usage tasks. But still it carries on I'm not quite sure what else it would be. Has anyone else had this before if so any advice?

Sounds like your fans are ramping up and down due to fluctuations in temperature of the CPU. You probably want to look into your bios and change the fan RPM thresholds for the different temperature ranges.

Ryzen temps do fluctuate quite a lot as individual cores boost up and down, even at idle. The best way is to set a custom fan curve in the bios, fiddle with it till its to your liking AND set the fan ramp up time to be slower so its not going up so fast.

Yeah ive managed to change the fan curve's and it seems to be a lot better. Not sure the Cpu cooler is doing a great job tho, Just checked temps and was 45-48 Degrees when idle. When gaming the highest i got was 71 but i need to check a few more games, are these ok gaming temps ?
