Ryzen 5 5600X?

Hello guys, I currently have an RTX 3080 paired with a Ryzen 5 3600 and 2x8GB 3600mhz ram running on a b450m pro vdh max and 750w psu.

I mainly game in 1080p and many people have told me that my motherboard is bad and my processor is bottlenecking my GPU.

I wanted to know if I could get a 5600X and is it worth the upgrade?

And what about the stock situation? Is it as bad as the 3080? Or is there a chance I’ll get it on christmas

First question is, why are you using a 3080 to game at 1080p?

Are you running at 144Hz+?

Yes I am running at 144hz
