Ryzen 5000 series/Zen3 orders

Another not a great experience on this retailer. Just wanted some reassurance if anyone has had their shipping confirmation/despatch notification.

Would be grateful if the order number or order time can also be mentioned to have a rough idea!

No, I ordered a 5900x about 3.30pm, and I expect to be assigned a queue number like I am with my 3080 order. I've been waiting weeks for a 3080, so I won't be surprised if it's a similar story with Zen 3.

I ordered a 5900x around 14:36(going against my promise to not order from OC after the 3080 situation, fool me once and all that jazz), assume it will be the same deal as the 3080 and some form of queue will exist, hopefully a much shorter/quickly worked through one mind, a little less bothered waiting but does mean my new setup will sit staring at me a while longer.

Ordered a 5900X at 3 when I checked on the off-chance. For an instant email from PayPal, but the order confirmation says "not paid" under payment method...

Queue position would be very helpful, as would an eta on stock for each model.

These should be shipped out quicker, if you are on a pre-order queue as they are much easier to ship and not as complicated to manufacture as a gpu.

Well I'm well cheesed off not only can I not after spending and hour and half trying to cancel my 3090 strix non oc model qnd not getting through and no reply on the web service....

I rushed home tonight to get back for 5pm and ordered as thats when I thought they went live only to read ill be 100s if not 1000s behind qnd won't be till December till I get 5950x.

I've spent over a decade shopping at ocuk, spending thousands. I'll be ringing them tomorrow to cancel both orders I will not be shopping with them again they have the highest prices which I didn't mind because of good service but this has been appalling

Thanks guys for your replies. That looks to me like this company should change its name or something. Me and my parnter both have managed to order to a 5600x from competitors website and I also have order with OCUK around 1440 PM still no update. Looks like I should be cancelling it.
Also a competitor with 3 letter website had farcry 6 bundled with 5600x!

Not just this retailer, same everywhere I tried.

I was trying 3 retailers and had no joy anywhere. One was responding better but still timed out and got nothing.

Frustrating but as I said above, I was there at 1.55pm and on two other sites and came away empty handed.

No not at all. As mentioned some websites were selling for a fair amount with reasonable shipping charges. Also a 3 lettered website was offering a far cry 6 game.
I am not sure what happened to that very large stock of the CPUs and the demand would not be as big as of graphics card.

Whats the point of being forced to pay a premium next day delivery when there is not stock?

Btw thought the volumes must have been ok ish. I managed to get one order for a 5950x early next week (eventually I cancelled it), one for tomorrow and had an opportunity for another next week after I'd already ordered the one tomorrow all between 2:30pm and 3pm. 2pm.wss carnage, crash central.

Felt a bit bummed that they didn’t mention it was a preorder and not likely to ship for two weeks, but I’ve had emails now to say it’s shipping and should be here tomorrow

I got an order in there at 2:11pm which I've kept as a back up. When I finally managed to add to basket it did say pre order 30th November though. Don't think it's coming tomorrow, I'd end up with two if it did. Got my DPD notification from the one coming tomorrow now.

Annoyingly had one in my basket at the Bolton place, hesitated for about 5 minutes as like you said it had pre-order and then it poofed from my basket, anyway hopefully the 'pre-order' from Overlockers will take a couple of weeks max.

Got my 5900x at Awd-It (go on, ban me... anti consumer), my brother got his 5950x there too, pretty much every other website crashed bar E buger... Won't be shopping with OCuk anymore, they just don't handle these things right. Expensive as well... Why is buying stuff these days such a pain in the arse... never in all my 30 years in tech has it been this bad.

Guessing it's going to be a **** show on the 18th too. Looking forward to the 6800xt but I doubt I'll be able to get one here. My brother has a pre order for a 3080 active with OCuk but he's in the 400s still... Safe to say he's only keeping it open just incase he can't get a 6800xt, which is what he really wants now.
