Hi, as title says, I have finished building this PC and when trying to boot i am getting the constant orange DRAM light on the motherboard.

Motherboard: ASUS Rog strix B550 WiFi
CPU: 5600X
PSU: EVGA 750w
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 3600MHz

I've tried swapping the RAM sticks and booting up with one stick installed in different slots with no luck, does anyone have any suggestions?

I've done the flashback using a USB, that fixed the DRAM light issue, now the BIOS light is on and no display. The mouse and keyboard now connect so its improved the situation but its not fixed

Hold on, there's no version of Windows installed and I don't have my bootable USB plugged in, would that be the problem?

I have an M.2 and it seems to be installed correctly.

have you reset bios to defaults? rebooted, and what GPU are you useing? you should see bios screen with out any drive connected.

Got all cables plugged into the GPU using separate cables? Not got the monitor plugged into the motherboard instead of GPU?

The only thing I've done with the BIOS is the flashback feature to the latest version.

I have a RTX 3070 but I've taken it out during my troubleshooting so its not connected at the moment. Still no display.

theres ya problem, the CPU doesn’t have an integrated GPU, you have to have a GPU installed to get any video output :)

and the DisplayPort/hdmi on the motherboard doesn’t do anything, you have to have the monitor plugged into the GPU.

Thanks, that's solved the white VGA light anyway however I still have the boot light showing on the motherboard QLED's

Tried a spare unopened SSD and removed M.2 drive and boot light still on. Changed between HDMI and displayport from the graphics card

Did you rename the bios file?
