As per topic, realistically is it worth changing out my 32GB (4x8GB) of DDR4 3600 CL20 to either CL14 or a higher frequency memory (such as that linked below)? I'm running a 1:1 on my mother board Ryzen infinity fabric but can't improve on that.
I run a number of Sims in VR (Sim racing and flight sims) which are heavily reliant on strong single thread performance. As with all things VR then timing is critical to constantly hit the 90 FPS I aim to achieve on my HP Reverb G2. I often find that despite running an Ryzen 5800x, my system ends up CPU limited when running VR through my RTX3080.
For full context I'm using a now relatively old Asus B450-F Gaming Motherboard.
