Hi all,
I can't find any specific information about this from a reasonable amount of time Googling but does anyone know (or can confirm) if the HS (35w) series of mobile 6000 series CPU's actually have the same single core boost as the H (45w) models?

I ask as I recently bought a Zephyrus G15 to act as my day to day driver with my desktop being a ARC test bed. Regardless of what setting I use in Armoury crate the CPU tops out at ~4.5Ghz, 200Mhz slower than the max boost listed by AMD. Comparatively the 5800H in my wife's Legion 7 maxes out at its rated 4.4Ghz boost, and will do so in any performance profile apart from Silent/Quiet.

Now I am well aware that the quote speed from AMD is the maximum boost on a single core, but to not see it at all suggests that perhaps the maximum boost on the 35w TDP CPU's is ~200Mhz lower than listed by AMD (at least without messing with the power limits). I did notice on a review of the G15 by Ultrabookreview that the 6900HS their unit was fitted with maxed out at ~4.7Ghz, or 200Mhz below the 4.9Ghz quoted by AMD.

I don't know if I am going mad, have missed a setting or this is a genuine difference which is not officially listed but does anyone have a Zephyrus G15 with any of the HS processers that can confirm the boost behaviour?

I need to do more testing side by side with the Legion to see what is happening at the various power limits but right now it looks like the CPU maxes out at 4.5Ghz.

None of this really matters as it looks like my wife will be using it for her writing due to preferring the keyboard. Meh, I will take the ~165w TGP 3080 in the Legion... :p
