Ryzen 7 5800X3D pro-order status

I've just had confirmation from customer services that it is now EOL and OC will not be expecting any further stock.
Interesting. There seem to be major availability issues on the 7800X3D elsewhere in the world and the prices are creeping up in the UK too.

pent up demand from those holding off to go 9000, expecting performance to be close to 7800x3d in games, and better in non games...after the crushing dissapointment from 9000 launch, a lot of people are just buying the 7800x3d instead...7800x3d had been of steeper discount before 9000 launch...now sales are booming, why disount so much.
9800x3d can't come soon enough for AMD, though if like the rest of 9000 series, might actually not show any real gains. can but hope though

As mentioned by another member above, there won't be any more 5800X3Ds available. I cancelled on Wednesday anyway, and ordered a 7800X3D, which means I am upgrading the whole platform.

Text from yesterday's email by OcUK:
Regrettably, we must inform you that your order for the 5800x3D has been designated as end of life by AMD. We have made efforts to procure stock from our suppliers; however, we have been unsuccessful in obtaining any further units to fulfil your outstanding order.
