Ryzen Build - Compatibility , appreciate some help :)

Hi,
Want the following and just a bit stuck on compatibility with the ram..

1: 2700x

2: Asus Strix X470 (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus...ocket-am4-ddr4-atx-motherboard-mb-6c1-as.html

3: 8 Pack 4000hz Ram (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...4000mhz-dual-channel-kit-black-my-098-tg.html).

The ram doesnt list Ryzen as compatible? Will this definitely not work?

Any help appreciated as i want to buy tonight. Any other motherboard that is cheaper but will allow me to overclock a bit and have ram running at 3600hz or close to?

Just sent him a PM , yeah thought it would work at 3600hz , definitely not 4000hz

Ok that what you just said about 2t command and proc odt i reeeeally understood haha

So i could buy the 4000hz ram and start it off at 3200hz and should work . Will the board set it at 3200hz and boot or will i have to put in all the settings? If so i think ill buy 3200hz lol

Just been looking at some benchmarks with 2700x and 16gb ram and in lots of cases 3000hz is superior to 3200 and 3400hz. Is that cause the cas latency are lower in 3000? This isnt 8 pack ram so 3200 c14 would perform better in gaming than 3600 c16?
