First time building a Ryzen system based around the Ryzen 5 1700, is there anything I should know in regards to BIOS settings or Ryzen master?

Thanks

It's fairly straight forward to get going. For Bios make sure to enable the xmp memory profile so your RAM runs at full speed. If you have the stock cooler you can possibly get all the cores to run 3.7ghz simply by changing the multiplier to 37 otherwise if your going further you may want a better cooler since getting the higher overclocks of 3.8-4ghz will need to bump up the vcore.

Will all core boost (3.7ghz) need anymore voltage ?

With mine which is broadly similar I guess (1950x) I need 1.4v to get to 4.1 all core and if I set my board to out of the box oc mode it will also xfr to 4.1 on 2 cores. If your running fast memory you will most likely need to up the voltage to the soc. so to get 3200 out of my 8 sticks I need to set vddcr soc voltage to 1.1v and also llc (load line calibration) to level 1. After that it's pretty much done.

It might do it on stock voltage but you'd never know until you try. I've heard the stock cooler can handle around 1.25-1.3v which will def get it to 3.7 but you don't want to give it much more than that without getting a better cooler.
