Ryzen Memory choice hell

I love spec'ing new pc builds for friends but memory choices drives me to despair. Worse now I'm planning my own new build. It's a slow build over a couple of months to allow for budget going Ryzen 3700X in the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite mobo. Same mobo/chip combo that fitted my friends budget in the USA but I cannot decide which memory to use but since prices are so good right now it makes sense to get that up front.
I want 32GB and I'm thinking 3200mhz seems the sweet spot, no real plans to overclock but I might be persuaded one day.
My budget is £180 at the top end.

I recently won 16gb of Ballistics Sport LT ram from a stream (TAG, not their fault but 3 months later still not delivered.. )) which seems pretty good from the thread I've looked at in here so would it be an idea just to match it up with another set of 16gb or sell it and buy a full 32gb set of the same stuff? Do I go with the Ryzen tuned stuff? Help me!!

Thanks for the reply. Yup it’s definitely a lot to sift through. Cheers dude. Adding that to the pile of info tumbling around my cluttered head.

+1 for Ballistix. Why you need 32 btw?

Started getting back into video editing and working with some memory hungry programs. Not at a professional level but the extra ram definitely helps. Also that mess of an alpha Star Cit enjoys it. Upped my current 4770k system to 32gb of 1600mhz ram (she’s getting on but still capable) and haven’t had issues with it since

:D Seems like the consensus is for the Ballistix then :D I’ll be looking at PSU & case deals around the Black Friday deals. Memory will get ordered sooooon. Thanks again for the replies. Never enjoyed boning up on ram so this has been a help

I've never been much of an RGB fanboy but with the Aorus board at the heart of the new build it won't hurt to have a bit of pretty. Really torn now. Might get these and also test with the 16GB Ballistix kit. Can't see them losing much value.

The anticipation is high. First personal build in 5 years. Watching my mates system boot up first time after helping him build it over discord the other day was the final straw so this has to happen lol

I’ll be happy with the 6 or 8 core options up front with budget restrictions but knowing I’ll have the 12 & 16 core choice down the line is mmmmmmhh! Pulled the trigger on the Corsair stuff, OCUK got me cold with that offer :D:D
