anyone know of a resource that covers the basics at all please?

In short:

OC ram first.

Then CPU:

Set SOC to 1.1v

Bring vcore up to 1.4v try for 4Ghz. 40x multiplier.

Try to stabilise at 1.35-1.4v

Linx for memory stability test
Prime 95 for cpu stability test

Enable overvolt protect if avialable.
