Hi

I've been using a Ryzen 3 1200 overclocked to 3.5ghz with 16gb Team Group RAM @ 3200mhz without any problems. I've run OCCT and Aida64 for hours and it's been fine - no lock ups, reboots or high temps.

Swapped out the cheap Corsair VS550 PSU for a Seasonic Focus Plus 550w PSU and on the first boot it reset my bios. Tried 3 more times and got it to work with my settings. Ran the stress tests again and no problems.

Turned it on today and system kept turning off before POST. On the second attempt it automatically reset the bios and loaded defaults. Entered in the overclocks and pc wouldn't boot and so had to reset the bios manually (i.e.clearing bios using the pins). It's now managed to get into windows and seems to use RAM at the default 2133.

I just tried 2933 and that's working so far
...

Could it be the PSU? Nothing other than that has changed.

I did, and it did the same thing. Not sure why it's started doing that but I've got the RAM running at 2933 and CPU at 3.6 and it's stable so that's good enough for me.
