I'm not seeing a thread on this, although there is a Ryzen 2 thread but Pinnacle Ridge will come before that? Having a Google around it looks like it may release in the next few weeks and is a die shrink?

Anyone planning to move to this? Decent upgrade from "Ryzen 1"?

Yes, there's perhaps not a specific one for the April release but...

But what? Since when did I have to seek your approval prior to starting a discussion?

If you're not interested in discussing a clearly very specific topic, then please don't try to suppress others from doing so.

This being a forum, I get to have as much say as you and speak my opinion as much as you.
You thought a 3rd topic where Ryzen would be discussed would be a _wonderful_ idea.
I figured it best left to the other 2 and said so. Handily, most of the other folks discussing the topic also seem to agree.

If you don't want to contribute to the conversation, then you're under no obligation to read the thread.

Please don't troll.

@String I see you already have 6 core cpu. Did you consider a change to AMD with the first wave of Ryzen?

I did, but lack of micro ATX options put me off and the memory compatibility issues were also a factor. I didn't feel there was a justifiable upgrade path there at the time. That's why I'm interested in Pinnacle Ridge as I'm interested in the improvements now that the architecture is starting to mature.
