Hi,

I am about to build a Ryzen 5 1400 PC for my friend. I was going to look into overclocking it but is the stock Wraith cooler good enough to use? Or would I need to buy aftermarket to even attempt overclocking?

Thanks

The 1700 comes with a wraith spire cooler which has better cooling than the cooler with the 1400. My 1700 is running at 3.7 and the max temp it hits is low 50's C. I think the 1600 comes with the Wraith Spire cooler and gives you six cores as well.

I already have the Ryzen 1400 lol, its sitting in my living room. I was just wondering if the cooler was adequate enough to overclock with lol.
