Those are generally used to connect the sound directly to graphics cards, generally all newer cards pipe it through the PCIe connection so it is a bit outdated. However a product you might be interested in might be "Gigabyte CB-12CR11SPD". Google it, might help you i'm not sure

I eventually found that searching ebay for 'S/PDIF bracket' produced similar products.
My Asus P5B-V motherboard has taken a dislike to running its POST and I may replace it with a cheap MSI m-atx board. I plan to get a Haswell CPU/mobo/memory next year when they become available.
