Not sure if the has been posted yet but i just found it on pre order for £17.99 due for release 5/2/2010!

I still haven't got myself to play the 2nd game yet... I start it, play for 5 mins and then get bored.

Very good game this. I can't wait. Possibly the best and only proper FPS made specifically for the PC.

Hopefully they'll make sure it's finished before release. Although last I heard it was being released several months later than Russia for translation, so maybe they've had more time to work on the game as well. Clear Sky's code was terrible and the original wasn't too good either.

Really enjoyed the first two, as said above I hope that they have learnt from their mistakes regarding coding crashes etc.

Finished Clear Sky on Saturday evening. Not nearly as good as SOC.

As for crashes etc - I never had one crash with SOC. CS, I had to reinstall once at it just seemed to implode. It also kept crashing to desktop at a specific point in the game - have to follow some chap - I killed the chap, made my own way and the game was happy.

Looking forward to PIP.

I just hope that they will fix the code. Clear sky was unplayable it had so many bugs that I wasnt able to finish it. Shame that as this is a game with a huge potential but its just broken. I would dare say that it has better atmosphere than fallout 3.

Hell yes, loved the atmosphere in Stalker. They captured the eerie, desolate feel almost perfectly. And it was scary as **** in some places.

If its not out till feb they should have sorted it properly this time. The stalker games are prob my fav games of all time.

I dont think i've ever played a game where i think twice before going in a room, love it!

Loved SoC- just replayed it after it went on sale at £3.50 on steam and added the complete mod. Soo good, wish I had a better PC for it, had to run everything on minimum. Whats the gist of the plot with CoP? I never played clear sky either cos of all the bad reviews.

from what i've read you play a secret agent sent in as a stalker to find out whats going on. dont know any more than that.

i guess there must be more info but i'm at work so cant look.

Polish version is available for about month now. You can play without patches, reviews are good, most of people saying is not as good as SOC but better than CS. I will probably start this one after I'll finish Risen

In the Red Forest section by any chance? If so, that was the only bug i encountered as well. And used the same solution as you - decided he probably wasn't that important anyway and shot him in the face.

Played Shadow of Chernobyl so many times now, its awesome. Not actually played Clear Sky but think I'm getting it for xmas so will finally play through it on a rig that will run it nicely

I just hope you won't be disappointed with clear sky. I'm telling you I gave this game so many chances but when I played it it just seemed unplayable.

Maybe now there are some new patches released? Does anyone know if it has been improved? I might give it yet another chance

i played through it a few times not as good as soc but still ok. played fine with all the patches and a few mods on!

I like the look of the stalker series, but am a pansy when it comes to games and this looks fairly scary.

I think I'm the only person to stop playing bioshock because I was kacking myself, who had to have 3 stabs at HL2 because of ravenholme and who played F.E.A.R for about 10 minutes, then had to stop because otherwise my heart would have given out because it was going so fast

You get a substantial amount of longevity out of your puchases then?

Give the most recent patch on here a try. Should fix all problems. Don't forget to run the game the same resolution as your desktop.
