S.T.A.L.K.E.R Multiplayer BETA starts early next week so i thought this is a good oppourtunity to group togather a list of all the places to go ahead and grab a key, I will update this thread frequently with more details and places to get hold of a key as they come currently plenty to go about.

Eurogamer, 100 Keys

Gamersnation, Originally 50 now 100 Keys

Filelplanet also has the BETA opening to subscribers very soon. I have my key already, so make sure you don't miss out if you want one they are going fast. :)

No. that version is WELL out of date. and that was actually a post ALPHA copy that was leaked.

To inform those so they know its out in a month.

Their better releasing a demo rather than a beta anyway. Beta's are usually loaded with bugs are crappy quality which might put people off the final game, thats what it was like for a lot with 2142.

There is another thread which informs them of the release date which i made myself. your post beared no significance in this thread whatsoever. and what use would a demo do? :confused: . A BETA will help them to crack more bugs and make a more polished product. The 2142 BETA was very successful, i take it you wern't in it?, a lot of bugs were cracked and the game would be a lot worst than it is if it wasn't for the BETA.

Lol, I was in the BF2142 Beta, No im not a member of fileplanet, I fail to see the point of paying to take part in BETA's. EA sent me an email with a beta code, I played the beta once was it? I already had 2142 on pre-order. I got the BETA and did not like it at all. Besides EA don't even support their community with new maps etc. Don't bother saying Wake or Jalalabad, port over and a bribe for incompetence and made by another company.

Also since having 2142, with their pathetic adware, I still think its lame. Even though I have only seen like 2 ads one on Intel anyway, but I have only played BF2142 a whole 1 hour since it was released. BF2 was were it is at, pity they don't care about BF2 no more.

So they want to solve bugs yet they limit it to subscribers or competition winners? kk :rolleyes: .

Obviously its a good money maker for them aswell this comes from Fileplanet, but there has to be a limited amount of people playing otherwise every man and his dog would sign up for it. most people do not want to pay and most people may not win a key, this keeps the numbers down while still keeping most people happy.

Im not really hyped that much I mean its ordered, but other than that I hadn't put much thought into it. Probly just because its been delayed so much, its lost its hype and it has. What do you think of it graphically?

I think it still looks very promising indeed, theres absoloutly shed loads of new previews out for it just recently come out in there bucket loads. The game will definetly not look out of place in march.
 
i cant see stalker multiplayer taking peeps away from great games like 2142, dod or bf2, its more a single player game with mp added on
if the single player story is good, i might grab it, but it looks so dated even in that new video
its had too much hype and been too long in development , it all points to a dissapointment .. but who knows :rolleyes:

All the previews I've looked at have been very positive so I have high hopes for the game.

2142 beta was hellafun. Probably the best games of 2142 I have ever played.
Hope you guys who get to play this have as much fun. I found having a beta place is a very rewarding feeling :)
