S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Problems

I have a 8800GTS running with 4gig of balistic and a dual-core processor, but when I try to put the game settings on full, all I get is blur. I can hear the person talking, but thats it, until I lower the graphics a little.

So, who's system can play this game on full? And whats your setup?

Well I had a strange problem the other day where I kept getting random beeps. The machine just to pause for a split second and beep at me. Did it in Bioshock as well. :confused:

I've got it on full, AMD dual core 4200+, 3gb ram, 768mb 8800GTX, Audigy Xtremegamer soundcard, vista 32, running the drivers that were released when bioshock came out (cant remember the version off the top of my head)

Yeah, Bioshock is a good game, but looking for people who run STALKER in full

As for some strange reason I can run Bioshock in full mode..

Isn't that pause and a bleep signifying hardware failure of some sort? I've had it a few times on an old pc and the whole thing died shortly afterwards. I'd get it checked out if i was you
