hi all ive got me crt tv linked to me pc why is it when i run windows media playet i have sound but no picture?.

Do you get any video picture on PC monitor or TV? If not you need codecs, FFDSHOW will do it. What are you trying to play?

If it works on the PC monitor but not the TV you might need to set TV as primary. Something to with limitation that it cannot have mirror-video on both at the same time.

ahh yeah licence thingy makes sense.

it works perfectly on moniter snd tv at the same time just not threw wmp.

could be a licence thingy not letting you run two cloned out puts.
