My S100 has developed a bright red pixel on the sensor, and is well out of warranty, so I am in the market for a new compact camera.

I really want something pocketable like the S100 is, and it looks like my options are:

Canon G7 X (£380)
Sony RX100 Mk1 (£250)
Sony RX100 Mk2 (£350)
Fuji XQ2 (£225)

The MKIII/IV are way more than I am looking to spend (tbh, £350+ is looking a bit steep too), but is the MK2 or Canon worth it over the MK1?

Anyone have any experience with the Fuji?

Portability is key for me, along with low-light performance in both still and video mode.

Cheers

I have the s110, and now have a RX100 (Mk3) and it's my goto camera at the moment, I think you will be very pleased with the Mk2, even the MK1 over the s100.

if your wallet can take the sting the RX100 is the king of the pocket cameras for me, it's nice to have the different models available as it makes it a serious competitor across the price range.
