s10e cannot move apps or make widgets

just noticed i cannot move any app from the home screen or set widgets etc
app lock is disabled

any ideas?

Nova here too and no issues... Funny how OP asks question but then silent!?

for some reason i got no notifications of a reply

stock android launcher, never had an issue till now
have rebooted phone and cleared cache

i cannot even move app icons, i can only open them

dont really want to atm, would like to work out the issue and stick with the stock
and really dont want to scrub the phone, it must be a setting somewhere?

edit sorted it, was apps locked, but the setting was off, had to turn it on and then back off

strange, but at least its sorted

Do you mean "lock home screen layout" is disabled?

yes thats the one, it was disabled originally
its working now thats the main thing
