Hi folks,

Managed to get a reasonable scratch in my s22 screen. Is there any coming back?

Yes, as above some UV glue and glasses screen protector may lessen the appearance of the scratch as the glue will fill in the gash.

I got a scratch on my Poco f5 screen, deep enough to stop my fingernail.

Added a regular tempered glass protector on and it's disappeared.

UV glue used to fill windscreen cracks.
Then a glass screen protector on top or a film one.

Or a DIY £145 screen from the likes of repair outlet Then chuck a new battery in at the same time whilst you are at it.

Ouch. I need to replace the screen and digitiser on my Ultra S22.

I claimed on my home ins, was £100 in the end rather than the £299. My son used phone as frizby.

I used iSmash, after repair however was a transparent blotch on the camera, some would say it was "Planet X" if you took a picture of the sky, however, it was indeed, just a blotch, and they wouldn't repair it (might have just been a bit of dust under it) because apparently the warranty with Samsung was "renewed" thus I had to go all the way to trafford center to get them to probably send it off, I thought no no and went into O2 and traded it in for £220 and paid the remaining £350 to get onto O2 switch up with the S24 Ultra.

But if I hadn't upgraded, what a PITA it would have been.

Do it ya self :)
I watched a YouTube vid last week and whilst I’ve repaired prevoous screens on older gen Samsungs in my younger days these later phones look a right pain in the rear to do.

This is another issue I remember my brother getting his screen repaired on a phone and had another issue that was not present before once he got it back.

And for £160 quid it's a risk if you are not 100% confident. Me paying £160 vs home insurance claim + excess of £100 seemed far more reasonable, except for the camera defect.
