Just ordered this monitor, will arrive soon.

My current monitor is 24G2U which is very good but this Dell Monitor has 240hz!

I will share my thoughts here when it arrives
 
Hi, out of interest did your ever receive this? Interested in this model but doesn’t seem to be too many threads about it
 
Just wondered what it’s like, any problems with it? What’s the IPS glow like? How’s the motion? I can’t seem to find any information about it anywhere!

Cons:
  • Not actually 400 nits brightness from what I can tell
  • Colour Temperature tweaking is very difficult, mine from the factory is bad and I ended up with a red tint
  • I haven't looked for IPS glow on mine but I'm sure I would have spotted it now if it was bad
Pros:
  • Lots of IO for USB & good positioning
  • Joystick Control
  • 240hz actually works
  • Freesync support so you don't need to use G SYNC
  • Refresh rate overlay if you're into it
  • VESA 100 Mountable
  • 25" is perfect imo
  • Motion seems fine to me, you can adjust response time settings in the OSD - I'm no expert on which is best

As much as I am a fan of Dell monitors, they’ve nearly always been somewhat off for me in terms of colour tint so I’m not surprised. The rest sounds really good. I’m very tempted to give it a try. I know their is an Alienware variant but not entirely sure what you get for the extra money outside of the fancier stand and aesthetics.

I think that’s a pretty good deal given the specs. I’m going to order one and take a chance with it.
