If you want to use the Fusion block on the S2E your chioces are to
1. Use the adaptors that came with the board to integrate the default 3/8" Fusion block into your 1/2" loop.
2. Change your loop to 3/8" hose and barbs so you don't have to use the ugly adaptors that are supplied. You could then easily integarte the Fusion Block into your loop
3. Remove the heatpipe system and addd your own nb/sb blocks so you can continue to use 1/2" hose.
Personally I'd go for option 3, but if you don't need to cool the NB then why bother? It just adds another potential point of failure in my opinion. Theres been too many stories about leaking fusion blocks to risk using it in my opinion. Plus the TIM Asus use is said to be very poorly applied so it might be worth re-applying yourself. Asus may well have improved Fusion Block design in later board revisions, but I still wouldn't risk it. Also I'm not sure where you'd stand with warranty if your fusion block was to fail. "You water cool at your own risk" is a familiar refrain used by some retailers to avoid replacing goods even though they are quite happy to sell you them. I don't include OCUK in that number by the way as I've always found them to be quite sympathetic in that regard as long as you aren't completely reckless.
