S40 T5 bulb failure - replacement

Dipped bulbs have failed on my S40 2008 T5, what's the bulbs to get these days, non halogen etc.

Halfords
Bosch
other?

Want good quality etc.

Get genuine Volvo bulbs, they are long life and designed to be used all the time. Failing that Halfords do some daytime running light bulbs which are again made to be used all the time. Don't get Bosch bulbs from Halfords they are just rebranded geralux bulbs and are rubbish.

I used autobulbs direct to find out what the bulb type was, then bought mine from this Amazon seller.

I went for Osram Nightbreaker Plus

They were far cheaper on this than anywhere else I could find.
