Am about to order my Venice core S754 Athlon64 3000+ and want a new cooler - any recommendations?

The favourite at the moment is the Gigabyte G-Power Pro (Socket A/754/939/478/775) Cooler.

I would think stick with the AMD supplied cooler. Seems to work well for me :D

Hi,

if your thinking about the G-Power then I would suggest take a look at the Thermalright SI-120 (of course this is the one I just bought hehe :))

By all accounts the stock retail AMD HSF is not a bad performer, but if you are suffering from *overcooling-addictus* my vote is for the Thermalright (22°C-38°C stock Opteron 146).

EDIT: The Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro CPU Cooler brigade will be along shortly :p
