Basically, I have the current setup:

3200+ venice
1GB corsair value select DDR (2x512)
Gigabyte K8NF-4 mobo
X800GTO 256mb
OCZ modstream 450W PSU
X-Fi X-treme music
Coolermaster Cavalier (The one with the sound guage) case
Couple of WD caviar 320GB drives

And I'm looking at upgrading.
I don't know what to keep and what to replace.
I mean, should I really stay S939 at this stage in the game?
Also what sort of money do you think I could get for the current parts?
I'd definately want to keep my HDDs and soundcard.

Regards,
Ash

Put your sound and HDD in and your'd be away. As for staying with 939 its up to you. Every ones talking about pricecuts and the new AMD system coming out soon but if your upgrading your pc you have to take the plunge at some point cause theres always new stuff just around the corner and you'd be waiting for ever otherwise. and you would really notice the difference with a C2D over and 3200+.

It's only a crap X800GTO.
But if I bought the spec you listed, do you think I could sell the parts being replaced for enough for a decent graphics card?

Cheers :)

Is selling your present system the 500 you were talking about or is it 500 plus the sale of your present system? If its the latter you should easly get enough to afford a x1950 poss maybe a 8800gts!
