s939 x2?

Has anyone seen any s939 x2 processors around that are new and dont cost more than the news ones out(ie £200+ :/) to buy

You'll be hard pressed to find any at reasonable prices new from retailers... I'd stick to ebay for 939 X2's.

See if you can pick up a dual core opteron and overclock it like mad. Thats what I did about 6 months ago when I upgraded from my 3500+

There is 4000x2 only I think for 939, costs about ~40 new, you could grab 2nd hand one for 20-30.

I sold my two X2 3800+'s at auction few weeks ago, one for £45inc and one for £50inc to a nice chap in France.

The 2MB cache chips (X2 4400+/4800+) still sell for big bucks!

They had the old 3800+x2 on here for £35ish a while back (i nearly nearly got one) but that was the 939 sadly (a rival site has a 4400+ out of stock for £111!!!! so id head the advice of heading to the bay really)
