Hello
I had recently acquired a new GPU that runs at has pcie3 support naturally i knew that it would not be active in my pcie2 motherboard (the sabertooth r2)
however after looking at AIDA64 and GPU-Z i am starting to think that it might have the plx chips that double the bandwidth?
Aida64 is showing these in the PCI devices: PLX Technology ExpressLane PEX 8747 48-Lane 5-Port PCI Express Gen 3 Switch
Here is also GPU-Z showing it running at pcie3

Really confused about this as its just the R2 not the Gen3 one with pcie3.
