Sabertooth 990fx sound edifier

just got some edifier R1600T speakers and they sound crap, farting all over the place, im thinking its the onboard sound making them sound bad.

do u think ill get a sound card on the motherboard running x-fire ?

Im using a sabertooth 990fx r2.0, running crossfired 7950 and also in the bottom slot i have a Asus Xonar Essence STX and i have no issues with interference of any kind from the gfx's.
